Description of Services
Plaine provides an AI-powered legal platform that offers contract drafting, review, compliance monitoring, and access to legal professionals. Our services combine artificial intelligence with human legal expertise to deliver efficient and accurate legal solutions.
Account Registration
To use certain features of our services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Subscription and Billing
Some of our services require payment of fees. You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented to you for the services you purchase.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the current billing period.
User Content
Our services allow you to upload, submit, store, send, or receive content, including legal documents and communications. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content.
By uploading content to our services, you grant Plaine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute such content for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our services.
Confidentiality and Attorney-Client Privilege
We understand the sensitive nature of legal documents and communications. All content processed through our platform is treated with the highest level of confidentiality and is subject to attorney-client privilege where applicable.
Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plaine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services
- Any conduct or content of any third party on our services
- Any content obtained from our services
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
